They were talking about getting rid of the cops. If you watch any interviews with the protestors early on they weren't talking about inventing programs or reforming things. Theres a bunch of people frantically trying to justify "defund the police". ![]() There's a lot of common sense reforms out there, which due to the current justice system, political system, and union supported police and public employee system, will never, ever happen. Legalize ALL drugs, make them extremely inexpensive, and produce all of them domestically would change the entire world overnight. If we don't have the public fortitude to simply execute the habitually violent predators at least there would be more room to warehouse them until dead, but that's really a stupid way to go with people literally caught red-handed (which is most of them). Less people packed into prisons and releasing truly non-violent drug offenders (not ones that pled down to a non-violent offense) would also be an excellent start and Trump is getting things rolling in that regard. Any true reform should include deleting habitual violent predators. We do part ways on rehabilitation of violent criminals. The prison system is an industrial complex. We want to imagine what a reinvestment in the community could look like. There are a few things on A/D's infographic that I can't disagree with.
